Geomagnetic Storm 2024 Monday Night. The agency’s space weather prediction center said in a statement monday that g4 or severe geomagnetic storm conditions were observed around 11 a.m. For the first time since the halloween solar storms of 2003 we have now officially reached the extreme g5 geomagnetic storm.

Additional solar eruptions could cause geomagnetic storm conditions to persist through. A severe geomagnetic storm has just hit earth — which means we could see auroras tonight!
